Lloyd Cole (né le 31 janvier 1961) est un chanteur/compositeur anglais, qui officia en tant que chanteur principal de Lloyd Cole and the Commotions de 1984 à 1989 avant de poursuivre une carrière solo. Leur premier album "Rattlesnakes" a été considéré et est toujours considéré comme l'un des meilleurs albums de ces cinquante dernières années, Il sera suivi de 3 albums; puis en solo Lloyd Cole gardera l'aura de songwriter, avec en plus des productions géniales (comme "Love Story").En 2000 il sort "Negatives" avec le groupe The Negatives Aujourd'hui autoproduit semble-t-il, ses albums sont anecdotiques et confidentiels tout comme son dernier album "Antidepressant".
