Biographie
Née à Saint-Louis (Missouri) le 27 avril 1947, Ann Peebles est une chanteuse américaine de musique soul et de rhythm and blues. Sa voix, qui peut être sensuelle ou endiablée, lui a valu de nombreux succès : "Walk Away" (1969), "Part Time Love" (1970), "I Pity The Fool" (1971), "Breaking Up Somebody's Home" (1972), "I Can't Stand the Rain" (1973). Après une longue pause dans les années 1980, consacrée à sa famille, elle est réapparue en 1992 avec l'album "Full Time Love", publié chez Bullseye Records.
